We admit it. We're in love. Google Earth rocks.

 

Our fearless leader and consumate GIS programmer, Brian Flood, kicked around the idea of how to publish ArcGIS data to more readily available clients. When he downloaded the Google Earth beta, he knew he'd found a great platform. Arc2Earth was born from the GIS community's need to access their data and visualize it in a form easily accessible by the masses.

 

Thanks to all of you who participated in the beta. We got some great ideas and caught a few bugs. Many of your idea have found their way into V1. Several others will be in future releases. Our aim is to build this tool into something that is useful to users and developers alike. All comments welcome!
